Matt Canning, General Manager-Hotel Vermont
Matt is a Vermont native and exudes a hospitality spirit for all things! A graduate of UC Boulder, Matt started his hospitality career at the Boulder Marriott. After college, he worked the front office and food service at the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe. In 2013, Matt returned to Burlington as the opening Front Office Manager at Hotel Vermont, and was later promoted to Food & Beverage Manager in 2016 and Assistant General Manager shortly thereafter. Today, Matt is the General Manager for this award winning, full service independent hotel.
