Michell Langlais, Director of Sales
Michell Langlais, a native Vermonter, has held leadership roles with Westport Hospitality for more than 24 years. During her tenure, she has served as both General Manager and Director of Sales, earning Marriott’s General Manager of the Year Award in 2005. In her current role, Michell leads sales for Westport Hospitality’s hotel portfolio. She is responsible for driving top-line revenue, increasing market share, overseeing revenue management, developing and implementing sales strategies, and strategically positioning the company’s hotels within their markets. Michell has built and maintained strong corporate partnerships with both local and national accounts and is known for her commitment to achieving strong financial results for associates and investors.
Prior to her career in hospitality, Michell served as Vice President and Corporate Relocation Director at Vermont’s largest Coldwell Banker real estate firm. She is a graduate of Trinity College of Vermont, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Psychology. She also holds a Certificate of Gerontology.
Michell is a dedicated community advocate, ambassador, and volunteer who is passionate about making a positive impact. She currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for Mercy Connections and Vice President of the RunVermont Board of Directors. She is also a past Board President and Campaign Chair for United Way of Northwest Vermont.
An exercise enthusiast, Michell enjoys crossfit, running and staying active. She has two grown children, Connor and Stephanie, and is the proud “Gigi” to her grandson, Greyson. Michell resides in Colchester, Vermont, with her husband, Barent, and their two dogs, Eli and Zena.
