Bell / Valet at Hotel Vermont
Title: Bell / Valet
Reports to: Front Office Manager
Who we are
For more than 13 years, we’ve shared hospitality on Cherry Street in Burlington, cultivating local partnerships and celebrating the independence and sense of community that defines Vermont. As the region’s only independently owned and operated full-service hotel, we keep it simple, taking care of one another so we can take care of our guests in an uncomplicated, natural manner. This approach has earned recognition as one of Condé Nast Traveler’s Top Hotels in New England (2017, 2018, 2019, 2025) and, more importantly, the trust of our local community. As part of our team, you’ll help guests explore like a local, relax like it’s their job, and soak in every detail.
The Bell / Valet team member takes ownership of the guest experience in all public areas of the hotel. This position facilitates the guest experience for the entirety of their stay but has a primary role in the guest's arrival and departure from the hotel by providing valet parking services and assistance with luggage. The person is a source of knowledge for guests, providing suggestions for the best bike ride on a summer afternoon, an art studio on Pine Street, or a local mid-week dinner suggestion. This position works within the Front Office and closely with the Front Desk and Food and Beverage Teams.
