Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor at the Courtyard Burlington Harbor Hotel plays a leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, luxury presentation, and guest satisfaction. This position works closely with the Housekeeping Manager in daily housekeeping operations, inspects guest rooms and public spaces. This position plays an important role in supporting and mentoring the housekeeping team to ensure quality and service excellence.
The winter of 2025/2026 provides the Housekeeping Supervisor along with the Housekeeping Manager with the incredible opportunity to help design and implement new and thoughtful changes to the current standards as part of our upcoming renovation to include first class guest service, room amenities, and team training.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of room attendants and housepersons to ensure efficiency and adherence to hotel standards.
Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to guarantee cleanliness, luxury presentation, and compliance with brand expectations.
Provide coaching, training, and feedback to team members, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
Assign tasks, manage room assignments, and ensure timely completion of daily workload.
Respond promptly to guest requests and service issues, following up to ensure satisfaction.
Support the Housekeeping Manager in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling expenses.
Uphold safety, sanitation, and security procedures at all times.
Assist in onboarding and training new team members
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guests continue to receive exceptional service
Step in to perform cleaning or operational tasks as needed to support the team and guest experience.
Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience in a luxury or upscale hotel preferred.
Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and quality standards.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong attention to detail, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
Effective communication skills in English; bilingual abilities a plus.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move items up to 30 lbs. throughout the shift.
